Nowadays, there are a lot of hacker online that are interested in hacking your account so that they are able to blackmail you. The following are the steps toward preventing hackers.

Set Up Password

Create a stronger password in your computer so that hacker would less likely to be able to hack your computer and steal all the important information of your company. This is because if a company does not have a stronger password, the hacker will be able to access to the important information of your company and sell it to the competitors of your company. We should also install a firewall in our computer in order to prevent hackers.

Download material from email

There are always risks when we download material from the email. Those emails might contain viruses and hacker. We can prevent virus email by following the steps below:

Step 1: Pay attention to the subject of the email

If the subject of the email is “How to Make Money in One Minute”, these are mostly a virus email

Step 2: Attached Files

The attached files that end with “.exe or .vbs” are most likely to contain viruses. So pay attention to the files before opening it 

Step 3: Links

Do not open links that are not necessary because sometimes the viruses are not located in the email. It is located in the link that you pressed in

Back Up Data

It is important to have the habit of backing up data. This is because if there are viruses on our computer and we didn’t back up our computer, all the important stuff will be gone. This will be a waste of time if we try to recover all the data. We can back up our data on the internet so that we are able to can save up a lot of money. We can be able to recover our data easily on the internet. We can prevent theft from backing up your data to the internet. Backing up data can prevent human error. This is because we are most likely to delete a data accidentally but backing it up on the internet, can prevent this accident.
